Connections in words

Available, booked, called, acknowledged and present are different facts.

One canonical operational day

Production Day connects the date and location to the work planned for that day.

The plan and what happened

The schedule plans work. An issued Call Sheet freezes a version of that plan and its recipient context. Acknowledgement records a response to that version. Presence records participation on the day; opening a sheet is not arriving on set.

Not every calendar entry is a Production Day

Availability, bookings, meetings, holds and deadlines retain their own meanings. A canonical operational day is created for production work, not inferred from every dated event.
